Case studies from our Appropriate Behaviour in the Workplace Training

Engaging training supports our clients to build great workplace culture

Since 2007, Worklogic has been working with our organisations to help them build respectful and healthy workplace cultures. We provide a full circle service where we can advise an approach that can have positive long-term effect on culture.

More and more we are finding that clients are putting training at front of focus. With a range of obligations that Australian organisations must comply to, Worklogic’s training can help organisations achieve their goals, while adhering to updates to laws and codes of conduct.

Worklogic provides a broad range of inhouse and public training programs that all relate to aspects of creating positive workplace cultures. For instance, our Upstander program teaches employees to speak up if they witness inappropriate behaviour. For managers, our course Conversations that Matter trains people leaders to tackle those tricky conversations, systematically and with staff front of mind.

We also provide a comprehensive suite of programs designed to assist with the upskilling of capabilities of their people for when things don’t go well. Our flagship course Conducting Effective Workplace Investigations takes participants through the process of a workplace investigation, so they are aware of what is required to conduct a procedurally fair and effective workplace investigation.

Appropriate Behaviour in the Workplace

Where we have seen the greatest level of need over the past five years is our clients engaging us to conduct Appropriate Behaviour in the Workplace Training. The program is designed to educate all of their employees in their legal and moral obligations in relation to Discrimination, Harassment, Sexual Harassment and Bullying in the workplace.

Using an interactive training model, our consultants engage with teams to help them understand their obligations as employees to identify, address and effectively manage inappropriate behaviour when they are the subject of or witnessed inappropriate behaviour.

Worklogic has delivered this training to small, medium and large organisations including multinationals and all levels of government.

Recent Training Case Studies

In 2022, Worklogic was engaged by a large multinational corporation to deliver our Appropriate Behaviour in the Workplace Training for their entire cohort of staff in Australia. This training involved providing the 2-hour program to over 1800 employees through 80 face-to-face and virtual training sessions across 3 months.

Sessions were held in Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide and Canberra. In early 2025, Worklogic was further engaged in early 2025 to deliver the same training as a refresher for a large cohort of their employees in Australia totalling 800 employees. This refresher training is now underway in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, Adelaide and Perth.

In early 2025, Worklogic was engaged by a Victorian Government Department to deliver our Appropriate Behaviour in the Workplace Training to all employees across Victoria. This involved delivering the training to 170 Leaders and 580 employees across multiple locations. We provided this service both face-to-face and virtually.

This year, Worklogic presented this training for a small chemicals manufacturer based in Regional Victoria. This involved delivering the training to their team of 25 staff in a face-to-face session.

Appropriate Behaviour in the Workplace training will give staff the skills and knowledge in how to effectively address inappropriate behaviour before it becomes a major issue or has a permanent negative impact on your workplace culture.

This training can also assist your organisation in meeting its obligations and compliance with the Positive Duty to Prevent Sexual Harassment Act by demonstrating how your organisation is educating your people and working proactively to prevent sexual harassment from occurring within your organisation.
