Another National Reconciliation Week is upon us- a time for the nation to reflect on the relationships that we have with Aboriginal and Torres Strait islanders and committing to strengthening those bonds.
Reconciliation is a process that is ongoing.
This year at our annual work retreat in Queensland, Elder Uncle John Graham impressed on us the importance of building relationships with the indigenous community and to maintaining our curiosity about the land we inhabit.
Here at Worklogic, we are committed to the process of reconciliation and building relationships in our sphere. In 2023, we committed to a Reconciliation Action Plan and are currently in the ‘reflect’ phase. This period has allowed us time to consider the importance or reconciliation and identify any areas of our business where we can strengthen relationships with First Nations people.
As a result, we now use Indigenous owned Kulbardi for all our stationery and merchandise requirements.
We understand that there is a lot of work to be done; however, Worklogic has always been committed to corporate and social responsibility, ethical behaviour, and contributing to better and safer workplaces.
We will continue the process.
Worklogic acknowledges the Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia. We pay our respects to Elders past and present.
Worklogic is a values-based consultancy with offices in Melbourne (Naarm), Sydney (Warrang), and Perth (Boorloo). Recognition of First Nations Australians and the promotion of diverse, inclusive, culturally aware and safe workplaces and communities is at the very core of the work we do and aligns with our values and with the objectives of the Reconciliation process
